Nils Weigt M.A.

Doctoral candidate, Hans Böckler Foundation doctoral scholarship

Nils Weigt is working on a dissertation project on the relocation of SS and Gestapo offices to Brandenburg (1943–1945). He studied political science, history and Eastern European cultural studies at the Technical University of Dresden, the University of Potsdam and the University of Warsaw. After graduating, he worked as an educator for the Brandenburg Memorials Foundation and others.

He has been holder of the C. and N. Weickart Fellowship made possible by Christiane and Nicolaus Weickart and a Visiting Research Fellow at the Fritz Bauer Institute in 2022. He has been holder of a doctoral scholarship from the Hans Böckler Foundation since December 2022.
