Dr. Veronika Duma

Research associate, Chair on the History and Impact of the Holocaust

Veronika Duma studied history at the University of Vienna and received her doctorate with a gender historical, biographical thesis on the Austrian social democrat, survivor of the concentration camp Ravensbrück and contemporary witness Rosa Jochmann. She has worked at the Institute for History in Vienna and as a lector in Austria. She has spent study visits to Germany and the USA with the Marietta Blau Scholarship of the Austrian Federal Ministry for Education, Science and Research. Since 2019 she has been a research associate for the Chair on the History and Impact of the Holocaust at the Goethe University Frankfurt am Main.
