Christopher Gomer has been assistant to the Fritz Bauer Institute’s Director since May 2024. Previously, he worked for the institute as a student assistant and supported the areas of research, publications and events. He was also involved in projects at the Geschichtsort Adlerwerke and the Studienkreis Deutscher Widerstand 1933–1945. He has been co-editor of the Frankfurt student magazine diskus since 2023. Christopher Gomer studies political science, history and political theory at the Goethe University Frankfurt am Main and the TU Darmstadt and is primarily interested in social scientific interpretations of National Socialism and the Holocaust as well as in memory culture.
