Veronika Schenck has been working as a guide in the department Knowledge Transfer at the Fritz Bauer Institute since 2022 and is conducting workshops and guided tours in this context. She is particularly interested in the current challenges and opportunities of anti-Semitism-critical educational work. She completed her studies to become a teacher for high schools with the subjects history, music and Spanish in Frankfurt am Main at the Goethe University and at the University of Music and Performing Arts. Since April 2022 she has been a doctoral scholarship holder from the Bischöflichen Studienförderung Cusanuswerk, Bonn and has been researching the »national opera« as a medium of Catalan autonomy efforts since the late 19th century.
