Lara Raabe M.A.

Doctoral candidate, Gerda Henkel Foundation Doctoral Scholarship

Lara Raabe is a doctoral student at the Chair for Research on the History and Impact of the Holocaust of Prof. Dr. Sybille Steinbacher. From December 2023 to November 2024, she held a doctoral scholarship from the Ökohaus Frankfurt Foundation. Since December 2024 she is holding the Ökohaus Frankfurt Foundation doctoral scholarship. From March to July 2026, Lara Raabe is a Visiting Research Fellow at the Jacob Robinson Institute for the History of Individual and Collective Rights at the Hebrew University in Jerusalem. She is working on a dissertation project on the legal prosecution of the crimes committed against Sinti and Roma in the Auschwitz concentration camp. Lara Raabe studied History at the Humboldt-University Berlin and the University of Sheffield, GB. From 2022 to 2023, she was a research associate at the Research Center on Antigypsyism of the Department of History at the Ruprecht-Karls-Universität Heidelberg.
