Lucas Freunscht has been Assistant to the Fritz Bauer Institute’s Director since September 2024. He supports the Institute’s directorate as well as the Chair for Research on the History and Impact of the Holocaust in organizational and conceptual matters. Previously, he was involved in various social initiatives. Since completing his Bachelor’s degree in Political and Social Studies at the University of Würzburg, his focus has been on Critical Theory, social inequality, and new social movements.
